My name is Meedeg, and I am a Mongolian artist from Inner Mongolia, China. Since embarking on my artistic journey in 2008, I have drawn deep inspiration from the vast Mongolian grasslands and nomadic culture. Through various media—including painting, clay sculpture, and cardboard art—I explore the dialogue between humanity and nature, tradition and modernity. Throughout my career, I have reached significant milestones.

My creative vision is deeply rooted in the Mongolian grasslands. Through my work, I seek to capture the spirit of nomads and the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. My art is not only a visual representation of Mongolian culture but also an expression of the resilience and ecological philosophy inherent in our way of life. In an era of rapid globalization, Mongolian traditions are evolving, and my goal is to preserve and share this cultural heritage through contemporary artistic expression. As a Mongolian artist, I continuously push the boundaries of my craft—recording the passage of time through oil paintings, embodying history through clay sculptures, and allowing culture to flow through space with cardboard art. My aim is to give Mongolian culture a contemporary voice, ensuring its vitality within the global art scene.

I have summarized the evolution of my artistic journey into several phases:

  • Phase 1
  • Phase 2
  • Phase 3
  • Phase 4
  • Now

Phase 1 (2008–2014): Most of my works during this period focused on themes of the grasslands, with horses and camels as the main subjects.
